The inside frame is new, executed in the museum workshops in 1919 based on a design by museum director Josef Škorpil. The frame originally surrounded a cut glass mirror made in Holýšov (Holleischen). Today it houses a copy of a portrait of Josef Škorpil by Augustin Němejc (1861–1938) based on the original at the West Bohemian Gallery in Pilsen.
